The listing is rustic, but beautiful. There was plenty of space to spread out. Everyone commented on how relaxing the setting was and how interesting the building was....so many nooks and crannies.

We were a family of 8 adults and 3 dogs, and the home was perfect for all of us (too many steps for our little dogs) but overall the place was simply amazing. Your home was more than beautiful and had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed and were looking for. The weather was perfect, and the neighborhood was so peaceful and clean. The home was super clean and spacious. The living area was perfect for our family gathering and the kitchen had ample space for our many cooks (and wannabe cooks 😄). Marcus was helpful and responsive for our questions. I would definitely recommend this home to friends.

This place is magical.....There's no other way to describe it.
Getting away from the city to this oasis was worth every minute.
The creek running in the back while having coffee in the morning and hearing the birds whistling, words can't describe the moment. The stars while sitting around the fire, every moment was breathtaking.

This place was truly a hidden gem in the poconos. You literally cross a small bridge to get to your secluded sanctuary. Waking up to the sound of the river and having coffee on the balcony with that view was amazing. The house itself was so peaceful and had everything we needed. Marcus was very responsive to any questions we had. The only complaint we had was that we had to leave :).

We loved our stay at Marcus and Marissa’s place! Tucked away in the woods, it was the peaceful, secluded escape we were hoping for—we couldn’t hear or see any neighbors the entire time.
The cabin is beautifully decorated with mid-century modern furniture and thoughtful artistic touches. It was clean, well-stocked with kitchen supplies, and we especially enjoyed cooking on the grill. The beds were very comfortable, and plenty of towels and linens were provided.
There was so much to enjoy both indoors (records, books, games, fireplaces, TV) and outdoors (hiking trails, cozy spots for morning coffee, a beautifully curated yard). Plus, the location is great for exploring nearby small towns with antique shops, bakeries, and other activities.
Check-in was simple, and Marcus and Marissa were wonderful hosts—welcoming and easy to communicate with. We came looking for a forest oasis, and we found it. We can’t wait to come back!

If you are looking for a peaceful, private setting, this is it. Beautiful property and cute house. There are nice touches all over the home to make your stay more comfortable. Nicely done rental. No frills. Just quiet and restful.

My wife and I were looking for a last minute getaway to just relax and this property is perfect for that. Marcus was very accommodating even though we booked the same day. The house and property are very well kept and easy to settle into. Marcus was spot on with his food recommendation as well. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Absolutely amazing space, well taken care of. The hosts have thought of everything, great location if you’re looking for some beach time with a quick Uber to the casinos. It was perfect for our family along with staying with the pups is always a plus! 10 out of 10 and I stay in a fair number of Airbnbs this was high on my list as favorite. Thank you!

Pleasant stay at Marcus's place. It's a plus that you can actually use the wood stove and fireplace. It's also separate enough from any surrounding houses that it feels private. Lots of bird feeders and birds which was nice. Marcus was easy to deal with and understanding.
